HTTYD- school project

OKAY... after like a month on and off and 30 layers later, finally finished my recreation project for my smad class. we could pick any picture we wanted and we just had to recreate the entire thing from scratch, and i chose (SURPRISEEE derp) how to train your dragonnnnn yeah!

so... look like a screenshot from HTTYD? WELL IT AIN'T. i painted every freakin scale on that dragon's head and every hair on hiccup's head (but i still love them both.) took for fucking ever man. in hindsight i probably should have chosen a picture that would not be a pain in my ass.

actually you better be able to because i don't want some ween thinking i just uploaded i picture off the internet. the most obvious differences are in the background because i did that last and kinda burned out towards the end...

anyway. i'm glad i did this. i learned a lot about textures. and patience. yeah.
