blehhh I liked this picture a lot more two weeks ago.
my take on 'six sisters who look exactly like me' was not 6 spot-on clones, it was more of an all different ages thing. But in the end if you look at them all they all have the same face, hair, skin, perfect personalities etc. you get it. Something I need to get across: this isn't really a ' poor poooor Ty Lee' pic because compared to a lot A LOT of people she is spoiled and happy and doesn't have a rough life in the least, but... now we know why she needs ten boyfriends. XP wooooooooooooooooo runon sentences. <3 comments are appreciated>> I read them, I really really do. : D |

I’m surprised no one else jumped on the “six sisters” thing. This is nice, and the colors are perfect <3
Okay...I checked my watchbox, and I saw the title. And I was like, "Oooh! A Ty Lee pic!"
Then I looked at the artist name by it...excitement shot through the roof. I was all "GAH!!! YAY!!! LIMEY!!!"
And then I clicked it, loaded it...watched it....
"Hmmm...ooh, Ty Lee...but she looks odd, what--? OH! That's little Ty Lee, I see. Hmm...what's at the bottom? Oh, are those other people making fun of her for that, I don't...wait...they're....OH MY GOD, SHE DID IT!!!"
I've been waiting for a pic depicting Ty Lee's sisters for a while. I considered making one myself, but didn't have the drive. I always considered them septuplets, but I was also entertaining the notion that they were varied in age--coming from a family with eight siblings, seven of whom look more or less exactly like me...well, it gives me a bit less sympathy for Ty Lee's story, but when I think about it, well, there IS a lack of attention and/or uniqueness that comes from it. I wouldn't know, though, really, I have no point of comparison....but that's off-topic. The point is, of all the people who would deliver this pic, I never thought it would be YOU. It's like turning on TV to see if anything good is on and finding out that there is an Avatar marathon....haha...wishful thinking....but you get the idea.
BEAUTIFUL job with this. Love the outfits. Love all the looks on their faces. What nobody knows, though, is that Ty Lee was the serious one.....
Her expression in top-center is amazing. As is hers in the bottom-right. Fantastic work.
As to your "she had it good" angle, yeah, she did, but that's not what she wanted. It's the same thing as with Mai and Toph. They have easy lives. They have what many would kill for. But...that's not what they want. But yeah, it's not really a "poor Ty Lee" pic, as you said...it's just her expressing what makes her upset. Amazing job. Purely amazing. YAY for Ty Lee love!
